Our Homeschooling Philosophy
Our philosophy on homeschooling delivers what today's families have told us they want for their kids:
Affordable. Our curriculum costs about 50% less than comparable programs while delivering all required academics plus advanced concepts that prepare students for the 21st century workplace.
National Standards. Our homeschool curriculum is based on national standards so you can be confident your child is getting a solid, comprehensive education. Core subjects like reading, spelling and social studies are paired with advanced life skills to provide a well-rounded education.
Challenging and Fun. Our curriculum teaches children (a) how to learn, (b) how to seek out information, and (c) how to apply that information to real life situations. The framework is academic but the activities are fun and enlightening for the child.
Learning by Doing. The focus of our program is on learning by doing. Instead of memorizing facts for classroom-style tests, students work on projects, activities and essays that ensure they thoroughly understand the subject matter.
Text-Based Materials. Research shows that a paper-based curriculum is better for elementary students than online learning. Emerging learners find it easier to read words on the page than on a computer screen. They're more focused, and therefore more accurate, when performing reading tasks in a workbook. Our program is text-based to give your child a better learning experience.
